Gabala Music Festival

Since 2009, every year in the summer (July-August) Gabala hosts an international music festival in every summer (July-August) since 2009. The festival, which is in its 9th year, is designed for classic music lovers. However, along with that mugham and jazz performers also contribute to the concert program. Despite the festival is held in Gabala, there is a musical program in Gakh and Sheki cities within the festival. Gabala that is one of the most important tourist destinations and in the harmony of the most beautiful colors of nature, gathered the lovers of classical music this year as every year. Chamber and classical orchestras of many countries performed within the framework of Gabala Music Festival, held in Gabala congress centern on July 29 – August 3. The chamber Orchestra of Baku Music Academy named after U. Hajibeyli, the symphonic orchestra of Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, the British Femusa Chamber Orchestra and other groups performed every day within the framework of the 6-day music festival. Along with the performances of the most prominent musicians of the country Farhad Badalbeyli, Murad Adigozalzade, Azer Rzazade, Isfar Sarabski and others, the performances of Janna Gandelman (Israel), Michael Sladkin (The USA), Dmitry Yablonski (The USA), Canluicci Sartori (Italy), Mojca Zlobko Vajgl (Slovenia), Nomeda Kazlaus (Lithuania) and other famous musicians made a real celebration of joy for fans of classical music.
